The Barbados Postal Service has awarded a contract to Reason Solutions, to supply its modern postal software (PostGlobal) that will drive the most extensive modernization of the Barbados Postal Service (BPS) in decades. Congratulations to Ms. Joann Busby, Postmaster General and her team on undertaking the digitisation of their post office services!

The Barbados Postal Service has a clear plan to transform itself over the next 5 years through significant investments in people, technology and infrastructure as it seeks to become the preferred delivery service provider for the Barbadian Government, its citizens, organizations and businesses.

Barbados Postal Service has made significant strides in improving postal services in Barbados. It is now planning to further modernize its infrastructure, adapt to the digital age, and enhance its competitiveness in the age of E-commerce.

This modernisation initiatives in BPS include the implementation of Counter automation, electronic tracking system to monitor movement of packages in real-time, integration with UPU Customs Declaration System (CDS) and International Postal System (IPS), the use of mobile app for pickup and delivery, and the adoption of online platforms for bill payments.

Barbados Postal Service is the 3rd postal operator in the Caribbean Region to choose the PostGlobal technology offered by Reason Solutions. Trinidad and Tobago and Grenada have already implemented the PostGlobal system.
